79th Independence Day 2025 : యావత్ భారతం 79వ స్వాతంత్య్ర వేడుకలు జరుపుకుంటోంది. నవభారత్‌ ఇతివృత్తంతో 79వ స్వాతంత్య్ర వేడుకలను కేంద్రం నిర్వహిస్తోంది. ఈ సందర్భంగా ప్రధానమంత్రి నరేంద్ర మోడీ ఈరోజు ఉదయం 79 వ స్వాతంత్ర దినోత్సవం సందర్భంగా జెండా ఎగురవేశారు. ప్రధాని హోదాలో మోదీ 12వ సారి ఎర్రకోటపై జాతీయ జెండా ఆవిష్కరించి చరిత్ర సృష్టించారు. ఈ నేపథ్యంలో ఆయన జాతిని ఉద్దేశించి ప్రసంగం కూడా చేశారు. ప్రధాని మోదీ మొదటగా రాజ్‌ఘాట్‌ రి చేరుకొని మహాత్మా గాంధీ సమాధి వద్ద పుష్ప గుచ్చాలు సమర్పించారు. అయితే మోదీ మొదటిసారి ఒకే రంగులో ఉండే తలపాగా, కాషాయం రంగు దుస్తులు ధరించి జాతిని ఉద్దేశించి ప్రసంగం చేశారు. ఈసారి ఆయన వేసుకున్న దుస్తులు మరింత ప్రత్యేకంగా నిలిచాయి. ఎర్రకోటపై స్వాతంత్య్ర దినోత్సవం నాడు దేశ ప్రధాని త్రివర్ణ పతాకం ఎగురవేయడం ఆనవాయితీ. అయితే అక్కడ జాతీయ జెండాను ఆవిష్కరించడానికి ఉపయోగించే తాడు వెనుక ఓ ఆసక్తికరమైన విశేషముంది. అదేంటంటే.. 1947లో తొలి స్వాతంత్య్ర దినోత్సవం, 1950లో తొలి గణతంత్ర దినోత్సవం మొదలుకొని ఇప్పటివరకూ ఆ రెండు వేడుకల్లో జెండా ఆవిష్కరణకు వాడే తాడును దిల్లీలోని ఓ దుకాణం నిర్వాహకులే తయారు చేసి సైన్యానికి అందిస్తున్నారు. ప్రస్తుతం ఐదో తరానికి చెందిన యజమాని నరేశ్‌ జైన్‌ మీడియాతో ఈ విషయాన్ని పంచుకున్నారు. దేశ ప్రజలకు దీపావళి కానుక ఇస్తామని మోదీ తెలిపారు. ఈసారి డబుల్‌ దీపావళి అందిస్తామన్నారు. హైపవర్‌ కమిటీ ఏర్పాటు చేసి జీఎస్టీ సంస్కరణలు తీసుకొస్తామన్నారు. సామాన్యులకు ప్రయోజనం కలిగేలా..రోజువారీ వస్తువుల ధరలు అందుబాటులోకి తెస్తామని చెప్పారు. జాతినుద్దేశించి చేసిన ప్రసంగంలోనూ మోదీ రికార్డ్ బ్రేక్ చేశారు. ఏకంగా 1.43 గంటల అంటే 103 నిమిషాల పాటు మోదీ ప్రసంగించి సరికొత్త రికార్డు నెలకొల్పారు.
India celebrated its 79th Independence Day with grandeur under the theme Nava Bharat”. Prime Minister Narendra Modi hoisted the national flag at the Red Fort for the 12th time as PM, creating history.
Before the ceremony, Modi paid floral tributes at Raj Ghat. For the first time, he addressed the nation wearing a single-coloured turban and saffron attire, making his appearance unique. An interesting fact — the rope used for flag-hoisting at Independence and Republic Day ceremonies has been supplied by the same Delhi shop since 1947!
During his address, Modi announced a “Double Diwali” gift for the nation, promising GST reforms through a High-Powered Committee to make essential goods more affordable. He also set a new record with the longest Independence Day speech by a PM — 103 minutes.
